North Island Brain Bee 2018

The 2018 Brain Bee Challenge was hosted by Professor Associate Deborah Young and featured presentations by Dr Simon O'Carroll from the Spinal Cord Research Facility (SCIRF) at the Centre for Brain Research and previous Brain Bee winners Stefan Ivanov and Matthew Fulton. The quiz was led by Dr Jessie Jacobsen. Students got to tour the Learning Centre and labs at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences and talk to brain researchers about careers in neuroscience. Prizes were awarded by Centre for Brain Research Director, Distinguished Professor Sir Richard Faull.
